Committee Details

General Responsibilities

All three committees will be involved in, but not limited to, securing:

  • Public support, marketing, and promotion
  • Funding and sponsors
  • Assets and artifact donations and loans
  • Establishing fundraisers
  • Recruiting other lead volunteers as needed to recruit volunteers, donors, sponsors, supporters, and applicants as potential board members
  • Honorary board members such as individual large contributors, cultural representatives and large financial, material or artifact donors
  • All paid employees including Administration positions

Friends of the International Indigenous Peoples and Tribes Cultural Center Project

This committee will be dedicated exclusively to its project but will be fully aware of and have relevant information for the other projects so presented opportunities can be generally dealt with before referring to other committees. The International Indigenous Peoples and Tribes Annual Exposition and the International Council of Indigenous Peoples and Tribes efforts will be handled by this committee except as noted below.

Friends of the International Cultural Center Project

This committee will be dedicated exclusively to its project but will be fully aware of and have relevant information for the other projects so presented opportunities can be generally dealt with before referring to other committees.

Institute for Natural Philosophy Cultural Centers Gala Launches & Public Events Committee

The efforts of this committee will encompass all projects relating specifically to both organizing the official public gala launches and coordinating and scheduling public and private, free and ticketed, one time and recurring events. This also includes the International Indigenous Peoples and Tribes Annual Exposition and the International Council of Indigenous Peoples and Tribes.

The events would include working with schools, colleges, museums, other non-profits, businesses, other organizations, co-ops, artists, crafters, special speakers and groups to create events, presentations and workshops for the projects.
